• NZERN has many thousands of useful electronic files that are not accessible to members.
• The files are in many formats - PDF, Word, Excell, Audio and Video, Powerpoint, etc.
• There is also a catalogue of a real physical library.
• There is not enough shelving for the physical library and no shelf signs.
• Any access needs to be searchable.
• Any access needs to be personalised based on preferences, areas of interest.
• It would be good to know the demand for different types of reference material.
• People and groups need to be able to add to this library and place any restrictions.
• It would be useful to be able to provide related links to Amazon.com, national library database, etc.
• People need to be able to add notes and metadata (cataloging information).
• Any keywords used should be common to the rest of the website.
• This needs to be user friendly
