• The emphasis to be on updating rather than adding.

• Make the pages very easy to edit by any member with final editorial authority with the group itself (if they are an NZERN member)
• Add links to external websites which are automatically checked for breaks on a regular basis.
• Add as many links as required to other internal web pages like wikipedia.
• Add ads to books published or services provided by the organisation.
• Add fields for text - like background.
• Add a field for references to books and articles.
• Add a location map that links to live GIS, Google Earth etc
• Add a field for downloads (PDF's, powerpoints, etc).
• Add a field for registration.
• Add a field of what to bring.
• Add a field of ages welcomed.
• Add a field of skills required.
